ECB All Stars Cricket initiative launched today 20th March
The ECB is introducing "All Stars Cricket", an initiative to introduce cricket to 5 to 8 year olds who have no previous experience of the game. The marketing has started today.
All Stars Cricket will be available at Richmondshire Cricket Club. Both paid-up junior members of the appropriate age and non-members who have registered centrally with the All Stars programme will be able to take part in these sessions.
Members and non-members who register centrally with the All Stars programme will receive delivered to their home various items of kit, including a plastic bat, cap, shirt with their name on it, drinks bottle and rucksack. This will cost £40 and is not paid to the club.
Non-members who have paid £40 to join the All Stars scheme will only be entitled to attend the specific All Stars sessions. To receive other benefits, they will need to become members of the cricket club.
The All Stars sessions will run for 8 weeks, starting Friday 26th May from 6.15 to 7.15 pm.
