Match Report U13 Fixture v Wolviston
The match was reduced to 18 overs a side but abandoned due to heavy sleet after 14 overs of the second innings.
Richmondshire batted first, extras did not have to retire and scored 50, Ben Dale scored 27, Angus Potter 20 and Kai York 18 not out, to give a Richmondshire score of 143 for 5.
For Wolvistion the two openers retired on passing 30, they were on 99 for the loss of one wicket when play was abandoned. Though it is unlikely their lower order would have scored 45 runs in four overs to win the match, Duckworth-Lewis does not apply and league rules are that the match should be replayed if possible. UPDATE: However, Wolviston have decided not to travel back to Richmond and have given us the win.
