Another trophy for the under 17 team
Last night our under 17 team travelled to Marton and won the Pallister Cup, which is the cup played for by the winners of the regional divisions of the NYSD under 17 league.
Richmondshire batted first and scored 158 for 3 off 20 overs, with Sam Winter scoring 40 and Tom Dowson retiring on 50.
In their reply, Marton managed 138 for 8, with Harvey Websdale taking 4 for 18 to move clear at the top of the club's overall wicket taking table, with 73 wickets so far this season.
There are five trophies which the under 17 team could possibly win, they have now won four out of the five, the last one is the 15 over cup competition, the final of which takes place on August Bank Holiday weekend.
