Richmond vs Northallerton match report
A really good workout for all in the sun saw Richmond narrowly lose to Northallerton in a match that went to the last couple of balls
We bowled first with all 8 outfielders bowling at least 2 overs, and restricting Northallerton to 251 net, with 6 wickets falling. It was good to see all the bowlers bowling a nice line and length with very few wides or no balls, testament to their development and the coaching skills of Lee and the Wednesday night team!
We batted pretty decently too, again the pairs format ensuring all players got a good hit. We conserved wickets well for a final dart at the total by Alex and Gabriel. After some excellent shots, the tension mounted going into the last over where only an unlucky run-out cost us victory.
