Under-11 NYACC match report

A great effort from the lads in their first game against a team who will no doubt be challenging for the league this season with nine year 6 boys, including 3 county players.

Hartlepool won the toss and elected to bat. They scored net 299 (119 for 4). Max Percival 2-0-14-1, Andrew Ralph 3-0-27-1, Eddie Player 2-0-5-1 and a great run out from Max.

In reply Richmondshire were net 245 (85-8). Finn Clarke scored 16 not out, Will Shaefer 11 not out and Joseph White 10 not out.

Wickets included two run outs and four stumpings by a very good wicket keeper so no shame in defeat today. On to Darlington next week!
